Bleeding Gums

Whilst bleeding gums are common, it’s essential to check the cause in order to rule out any serious conditions.

In general, bleeding indicates that your gums are inflamed, usually due to bacteria on the surface of your teeth. This surface inflammation is known as gingivitis, but may also arise from incorrect brushing technique, improper flossing, vitamin K deficiency and more.

Regular Hygiene Cleans can restore gum health and prevent further inflammation, so be sure to book in with our lovely Hygienist!ย  It may be worth booking a Check Up also to rule out any hidden issues.
